What if the item I want is not in stock?
We will inform you by e-mail if an item is out of stock and tell you how long the lead-time is expected to be for the item to come back into stock. At that point you can choose to cancel the order or to have us order it for you.

How do I return something?
To make a return or exchange contact us via email at shop@thisisauto.com to specify the reason and we will issue you a return authorization number. The item should be shipped to auto via UPS in its original condition and packaging accompanied by the original receipt (or a copy) and the return authorization number. We will not accept any used merchandise. In such cases the merchandise will be returned to the purchaser. Returns need to be packed securely and insured for the full price of the item and shipped to the following address: auto Returns 805 Washington St New York NY 10014 If the product is defective, we will arrange for a UPS call tag to have the merchandise picked up from you. If you are returning it for some other reason, you will need to pay the cost of shipping it back to us. Please note that additional shipping charges will apply to exchanges. Once the return is received we will e-mail you confirmation of the return. If you are requesting a credit we will send you a credit memo via email.
